Divorce with Dignity Online Support Group

For residents of California and North Carolina

"If you don't like the road you're walking,
start paving another one."

- Dolly Parton

Is your time in the shower spent ruminating about all the ways your ex has wronged you? Do you lie awake at night wondering how you'll survive your co-parenting years? Is your preoccupation with your divorce threatening the stability of your new relationship? Do you wonder if you'll ever just enjoy life again? Are you tired of feeling alone with your divorce pain?

Do you wish you could go to therapy so you could start to feel better but you can't afford it?

I was like you once. I felt completely overwhelmed by divorce chaos and didn't have the money for individual therapy. So I went to a couple sessions of a divorce support group -- only to end up feeling worse because group members were bleeding out emotionally and the therapist wasn't teaching us strategies to change our situation. Many of the members had been coming to the group for years. My takeaway was that no one got over divorce, ever. The group made me feel much worse about my problems, so I left.

But the problem wasn't with the people, or even with divorce. The problem was that the facilitator enabled unbridled venting instead of teaching us how to get better.

So I've put together the group I wish I'd had when I was going through my divorce 20 years ago.

This virtual group is designed to help you get out of the ruminating-woe-is-me-panicking spiral and learn skills to manage stressors so you can feel happy and hopeful again. In this 8-week group, you'll understand how to:

  • Navigate the stages of divorce grief
  • Set and follow a "divorce curfew" to protect yourself emotionally
  • Regulate your overactive and/or numbed-out nervous system
  • Stop letting resentment derail your present
  • Shift from a marriage mindset to a business mindset
  • Communicate strategically, not reactively!
  • Practice Radical Acceptance and focus on what you can control
  • Create a personal growth plan

COST: $50 a session, with an 8-week commitment, for a total of $400. Plus, you get a $50 discount for a total of $350 if you pay all 8 sessions up front.

GROUP SIZE: 6-8 people
